Since 1971, audiences have gathered at America’s only national park for the performing arts. During the summer, music and dance fill the Filene Center, whose wooden pavilion offers covered seats, while the sloped lawn invites picnicking. Families take in shows at Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods. In the winter, two 18th-century barns make a cozy venue for chamber music, acoustic acts and folk singers.
