The nation’s highest tribunal. Justices convene October through June in public sessions. Lines form to hear whole argument (seating starts at 9:30 a.m.) or three-minute portion (seating starts at 10 a.m.). Lines re-form after lunch. Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Free. When court isn’t sitting, lectures on the half-hour from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Cafeteria, gift shop. Plaza-level entrance facilitates security checks for entry.
