National Theatre

Opened in 1835, the National continues as one of the oldest operating theaters in the nation. Over the years, it has hosted a multitude of memorable events, including the pre-Broadway runs of the musicals "Show Boat," "Hello, Dolly!," "Fiddler on the Roof" and "West Side Story." Many of the world’s greatest performers have graced the National Theatre stage including Robert Redford, James Earl Jones, Eartha Kitt, Sir Laurence Olivier, Chita Rivera, Katherine Hepburn, Ian McKellen and Audrey Hepburn. Sa performances for children at 9:30 and 11 am; free admission with first-come, first-seated tickets.
