Just outside D.C. in Alexandria, Virginia, this down-home venue dubs itself “America’s Legendary Music Hall,” because stars like Mary Chapin Carpenter, Lyle Lovett and B.B. King have played here. Concert goers sit at long checkered-cloth-covered tables to order (grilled salmon, smokehouse ribs) and then see them on stage. Expect country, folk, R&B and bluegrass acts.
