Australian Museum

Australia's first public museum is dedicated to exploring and understanding the world. Their exhibitions are a joy for adults and kids alike. Collections not to be missed include First Australians and Wild Planet.

From August 19 2019, the Australian Museum will close to the public for 12 months as it undergoes a landmark $57.5-million renovation. As part of this renovation, called "Project Discover", the museum will significantly expand its floorspace with the help of award-winning architects Neeson Murcutt and Cox Architects.
