Pollination

The Calyx, The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, Mrs Macquaries Road, Sydney.
9/15/17 to 7/29/18

Showcasing the astounding hues of a variety of native and non-native flowers, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney’s new “Pollination” floral display creatively illustrates nature’s miracle of pollination. The Calyx’s internationally recognised green wall comes to life with words and images illustrating how pollen is dispersed, while a 50-metre flowerbed grouped into different colour schemes of purple, red and cream reflects the role colours play in pollinator attraction. In addition to the display, the new attraction features a variety of flower-themed events, including tours and pollination stories, music, science and educational events, workshops, photography exhibitions and microscopes and colouring stations for the kids.
