David Hockney: Prints
There is no ignoring the impact of David Hockney on the international world of art. The British icon is widely considered one of the most influential artists of the 1960s for his contributions to the pop art movement, with a legacy and output that endures today. The nationally touring exhibition of “David Hockney: Prints” has now arrived at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre in southern Sydney: a chance to hone in on Hockney’s extraordinary abilities as a printmaker through more than 80 works that span 1961 to the present day, drawn from the National Gallery of Australia’s extensive collection.
