Slurp! Six Spots for Noodles in St. Louis

Many cultures have takes on the noodle dish: we’re here to guide you to our best.

Swimming in tasty broth, swathed in creamy sauce, or swaddled in spice...when it comes to great noodle dishes, here's the long and the short of it!

Sen Thai

A bustling downtown favorite, and home to several popular dishes including Drunken Noodles (intoxicated with spices, that is, and packed with bamboo shoots, garlic, bell peppers, egg, carrots, onions and Thai hot chilies.) Omnipresent Pad Thai also gets a fresh treatment here.

Hiro Asian Kitchen

Among the vanguard bringing authentic ramen to town, theirs comes in two varieties: spicy shrimp and egg noodles and wheat noodles with braised pork belly and ground pork.

Charlie Gitto’s

Head over to The Hill, or to the suburban location in Chesterfield, to experience fine Italian dining and family specialties including seafood pasta Suzanne (homemade tagliatelle noodles with shrimp, scallops, and more in a spicy cream sauce) and rigatoni with spicy, homemade Italian sausage.

Mai Lee

A holy spot for local lovers of pho, the brothy Vietnamese noodle soup—they swear it can cure what ails you! Rice noodles are the common ingredient, which you can then gussy up with meatballs, rare beef, chicken and more.
