Fountain of Youth

Legend has it that it was here, on the site of the ancient Indian village of Seloy, that in 1513, Ponce de Leon arrived in search of magical waters that could preserve youth. In 1565, Pedro Menendez founded St. Augustine here. Now more than 450 years later, you can still visit the scenic park and drink from the famous fountain. Admission $10/children and $18/adult; Hours 9 am-6 pm daily.
