Fireworks Exhibition

Chihuly "Garden and Glass" next to Seattle Space Needle

If you want to stay indoors but see the fireworks show, what better way than at the Seattle Center through the glass ceiling in the "Chihuly Garden and Glass" exhibition.

The New Year's Eve pARTy showcases Chihuly's mastery of glass with a tour through the exhibit from 8-10 pm. All guests wishing to enjoy the Michael Benson Band before the fireworks extravaganza at the Space Needle begins, need to arrive before 10 pm. Cost is $250 per person which includes two drink tickets and a Champagne toast at midnight.

Close Down the Museum

Be one of the last people ever to step foot into the Burke Museum's current location.

When TAKE FLIGHT: Last Night at the Museum ends in the wee hours of Jan. 1, 2019, the museum will close until its scheduled reopening at a new location on the University of Washington campusin the fall of 2019. Starting at 8 pm, those 21 and older can enjoy eight rooms of music and live performances including visual and performance art, plus a behind-the scenes look at spaces designed by artists LoveCityLove. Dance your way to midnight for the Champagne toast for $50 before and $60 at the door.

Seattle Moisture Festival

Hale's Palladium in Fremont is the venue for the all ages Moisture Festival New Year's Eve Extravaganza

See performances from acts that normally play at the four-week Moisture Festival each spring; March 14-April 7 in 2019. They'll end the year in a variety of ways, from magic acts and burlesque to jugglers. House band The Highsteppers will rock the Palladium culminating with the midnight balloon drop. $100 for adults and $50 for children 12 and under.

Laugh Your Way to the New Year

Expect the unexpected when you head to Xtreme Theatresports New Year's Eve Party!

There's no telling which way the comedy will turn when 20 funny performers, divided into four teams, take the stage for an improv battle. Audience members act as judges throughout the show running from 10 pm to midnight's Champagne toast. Gifts will be given during the show as will party hats and more. $55
