Looking for some healthy options while visiting Seattle? These veggie-only spots highlight the very best of the Pacific Northwest's bountiful farms and will satisfy even the most hard-core meat eaters.

Chaco Canyon

Chaco Canyon

With a menu that includes raw dishes and gluten-free items, Chaco Canyon has something for everyone. Try one of its filling grain bowls, or, in the chilly weather, a bowl of the daily soup. It also has specials featuring the best of the season's produce. Full ingredient lists are available to check for any potential allergens.

Plum Bistro

This is vegan fine dining at its best. The menu is seasonal, but local favorite Spicy Cajun Mac ’n’ Yease is always available. You won’t miss traditional cheese. Plum also has a deli-style space in the Armory at Seattle Center, a food truck and, opening soon, a sweet shop. If you love the food, there is also a Plum Bistro cookbook.

Café Flora

Café Flora

Consistently voted onto best of lists, you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Try the Portobello Wellington, the paté platter and one of their outstanding pizzas. Café Flora also has breakfast seven days a week—don't pass up the gooey, delicious cinnamon rolls. Menus are clearly marked for vegan, gluten-free and soy-free dishes.

Araya’s Place

Seattle loves Thai food, and this vegan Thai spot doesn’t disappoint. Try its lunch buffet to sample a variety of yummy dishes for just $11. At dinner, order the Fried Brussels Sprouts. You’ve never had them this good. Araya's has two locations: the U-District and Madison Valley.

Sunlight Cafe

Sunlight Café

This spot has been serving Seattle its vegetables since 1976. While vegetarian, there are a number of vegan items on the menu. Try the Nutburger or the Vegetable Tofu Saute, and don't forget to browse the baked goods. The café is also open for breakfast and weekend brunch.

Silence-Heart-Nest

Silence-Heart-Nest offers vegetarian and vegan brunch favorites like French toast, omelets and pancakes as well as sandwiches, salads and fresh-squeezed juice. Gluten-free items are marked on the menu. Try the avocado migas or the pesto wrap.
