The EMP Museum is now MoPOP Museum of Popular Culture!
This epic museum focuses on music, science fiction and all things pop culture. Current exhibits include NIRVANA: Taking Punk to the Masses, Wild Blue Angel: Hendrix Abroad, 1966-1970, Fantasy: Worlds of Myth and Magic, Infinite Worlds of Science Fiction, Indie Game Revolution, Can't Look Away: The Lure of Horror Film and the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame Exhibition. Open daily 10 am-5 pm, until 7 pm during summer.
Spanning music, science fiction, fantasy, horror, fashion, sports, and gaming, the Museum of Pop Culture (formerly EMP Museum) is a leading-edge nonprofit arts organization, dedicated to the ideas and risk-taking that fuel contemporary popular culture.
MoPOP is housed in a 140,00 square foot, Frank Ghery-designed building located at the Seattle Center in lower Queen Anne. Featuring hands-on experiences, iconic artifacts, and award-winning exhibitions, MoPOP a destination unlike any other.
Current exhibits include Infinite Worlds of Science Fiction, Fantasy: Worlds of Myth and Magic, Indie Game Revolution, Nirvana: Taking Punk to the Masses, and We are 12™: The Seattle Seahawks and the Road to Victory.
