- Be sure to visit the neighborhood icon, Hat and Boots, in Oxbow Park. This former gas station-turned-art installation was saved from destruction and refurbished by the community.
- Fran's Chocolates headquarters is here—visit the store to not only buy chocolate but also see where they make their popular truffles and bars.
- Join in a favorite local past time at Flip Flip Ding Ding, Georgetown's 21-and-older pinball arcade. Thursday nights a tournament begins at 8:30 pm.
- Comic lovers and record lovers should head to Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery and the adjacent Georgetown Records for indie comics from a variety of publishers as well as a stellar used vinyl collection and CDs from local musicians.
