Gates Foundation Visitor Center

The free visitor center at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation takes guests of all ages through the connections we have with each other across the planet. From mosquito nets to personal water filters, see the ingenious ways people are helping other people. Guided tours can be requested in advance via the website. The visitor center is located across the street from the Seattle Center campus.

Don’t miss this special exhibition inspired by the critically-acclaimed book, Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide, by Nicholas D. Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn.

Women Hold Up Half The Sky features stories of women who have changed their lives through education, economic empowerment, courage, and hope. It challenges visitors to open their eyes, minds, hearts, and most of all, to take action to improve women and girls’ lives locally and globally.
