Creative Cuisine

Located on top of Queen Anne hill, you’ll find a warm and friendly restaurant that likes to keep things interesting with creative dishes and a constantly changing menu. Lloyd Martin serves up modern American cuisine using fresh house-made ingredients and whatever is in season, and longtime Seattle chef Sam Crannell creates innovative new dishes several times a week—some even made with exotic game meats. Simplicity is key here, from the décor to the menu, and Crannell has added a homey, heart-felt touch to the restaurant by handpicking each plate used in the serving of your meal from his numerous antique shopping trips. It’s hard to say what you might find on the menu any one day of the week, but highlights include bison bolognese, ravioli with ricotta and smoked tomato fondue, and poached shrimp with chorizo and white beans.
