Art and Architecture

The Seattle Architecture Foundation has made it their goal to connect people to the architecture, design and history of Seattle through dynamic tours. These entertaining and informative guided walking tours cover nearly the entire city—taking in its public art, its buildings, and even its littlest details like hatch covers. If you love architecture and design, you will definitely want to sign up for one (or more!) of these tours, and if you don’t yet, taking one of these tours will cause you to develop an appreciation for the way this city was built and the stories it has to tell on every street, corner and building. Most tours last about two hours, and cover topics from public art in the Let the Streets Be Your Museum tour, to the eclectic history of the Capitol Hill neighborhood in the Pike/Pine: Cars, Bars and Dead Rock Stars tour. Admit it, you’re intrigued!

Tickets: in advance $15, day of $25. 1333 5th Ave., Rainier Square Atrium, Suite 300, 206.667.9187, seattlearchitecture.org.
