Walk the red carpet and watch the 91st Academy Awards happenings at “An Intimate Evening with Oscar,” an annual event presented by the Saint Francis Foundation Ambassadors whose mission is to collaborate with the Bay Area LGBTQ community in support of Saint Francis Memorial Hospital.
The Oscars viewing party is taking place on Sunday, February 24, at the Fairmont Penthouse Suite, Fairmont Hotel San Francisco, from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m.
The party guests will enjoy a slice of Hollywood glamour and the comforts of the most luxurious real estate in the city atop Nob Hill with specialty cocktails from the bar hosted by William Grant & Sons, dinner buffet by Executive Chef Oscar Gonzales, a designer cake from Michelle Heston, and live piano music. The Academy Awards ceremony will broadcast live in five Penthouse rooms with extraordinary views of the city skyline on large flat-screen televisions.
During commercial breaks, Liam Mayclem, “The Foodie Chap,” a Bay Area Emmy Award-winning radio & TV personality, will quiz guests with trivia questions for a chance to win special prizes and cast votes for Oscar winners on a ballot.
All proceeds from the 4th Annual “An Intimate Evening with Oscar, Academy Awards Viewing Party and Benefit for the Saint Francis Foundation” will support the work of the Saint Francis Foundation at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital. The Saint Francis Foundation Ambassadors, a LGBTQ affinity group dedicated to fundraising and promoting awareness for Saint Francis Foundation’s initiatives, directs the annual benefit funds to the Hospital’s ICU/CCU renovation and the Tenderloin Health Improvement Partnership (TLHIP).
Christopher J. Meza, Event Chair, joined by Liam Mayclem, Honorary Co-Chair and Emcee, and Lois Lehrman, Honorary Co-Host, says that this year’s event “is shaping up to be another record-breaker, and it wouldn’t be possible without our generous sponsors, who are helping to bring us closer to our annual fundraising goal of $100,000.”
“An Intimate Evening With Oscar is the Saint Francis Foundation Ambassadors’ evening to honor our donors. From the moment you step onto the red carpet, you’re our “best nominee,” says Meza.
VIP tickets include early admission to the Fairmont Penthouse Suite with a champagne reception, concierge beverage service throughout the evening, and a personalized star on the red carpet “walk of fame.” General Admission tickets will have access to the red carpet and the Penthouse starting at 5:00 pm. Tickets are available now at the Foundation’s website here.
