Peruvian Perfection

Famous Peruvian chef Gastón Acurio found great success when he opened the first La Mar Cebicherîa Peruana outside of the Spanish-speaking world on San Francisco’s waterfront in 2008. Now with an enhanced new menu, La Mar is more popular than ever. Traditional and authentic Peruvian dishes showcase fresh seafood with influences from China and Japan. Signature offerings include cebiches (raw fish marinated in citrus juice), causas (whipped potatoes topped with seafood or vegetarian ingredients), empanadas (house-made stuffed and fried pastries with a variety of fillings) and anticuchos (grilled skewers), as well as Peruvian classics and modern main courses. Pair them with a traditional pisco sour cocktail.
