A sleek stretch of renovated warehouses (once part of an apple processing plant) in downtown Sebastopol is home to some of the best local food producers, winemakers, brewers and artisans. This unique space is the first business community in the country to connect customers not only with products and the people who make them, but also with the production itself.
The Barlow is a 12 ½ acre “maker’s marketplace” featuring locally made artisan products. Visitors can learn, experience, sample and enjoy the finest wine, beer, spirits, cheese, bread, art- and more. Spanning 18 buildings on the site of a former apple processing plant, the artisan production facilities are complemented by award-winning restaurants offering diverse selections based on locally sourced ingredients, and a collection of sophisticated boutiques, art studios, and specialty vendors- all in a family-friendly, wine country setting.
The Barlow also houses an Event Center that embodies the casual wine country elegance of Sonoma’s West County. With an expansive Oak Lawn, Terrace, and industrial style “warehouse”, The Barlow is a perfect setting for private gathering and events for up to 250 guests, and service is available through one of The Barlow restaurants, or wine country’s leading caterers.
Thursday nights at The Barlow during the summer months (June 2 – September 1) feature a lively and nostalgic Street Fair. With a block party feel, live music, local artisan vendors, food trucks, and special activities for kids, The Barlow Street Fair is a fun, safe, family-friendly way to enjoy a beautiful West County Sonoma evening.
