Fontana delle Tartarughe, also known affectionately as the Fountain of the Turtles, is in Piazza Mattei near the cross-section of Via dei Falegnami and Via Paganica. Turn on Via dei Falegnami when you see Costaguti Palace—a large pink building—on the right and you'll walk straight into Piazza Mattei. The fountain was designed by Giacomo della Porta and completed by Taddeo Landini in the 1580s. Allegedly it was Bernini himself who added the bronze quadruplet turtles.
