WHERE TRAVELER LAUNCHES THE DESTINATION DIGITAL RECOVERY PARTNERSHIP (DDRP) PROGRAM FOR DESTINATIONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO HELP TOURISM RECOVERY
IT PROVIDES DESTINATIONS AN INNOVATIVE PATH FOR REACHING VISITORS THROUGH SOCIAL ENTERPRISING
Manhattan, NY, October 21, 2020 – WhereTraveler.com©, the Digital arm of WHERE© publications in the U.S., announced a new program designed to help Destinations Marketing Organizations (DMOs) and Convention & Visitors Bureaus (CVBs) across the country on their road to recovery. Offering a platform to communicate, promote and inform local, regional and domestic visitors about their latest news, the Destination Digital Recovery Partnership contains at its core a unique proposition: The WHERE Local Experts Program.
The Where Local Experts Program provides upskill training and pay for recently unemployed and furloughed local Concierges, Guides, Operators and previous DMO and CVB colleagues recommended and selected to generate the content and curated listings of the partnership.
As CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) must be allocated before December 31, 2020, WhereTraveler© has assembled a team behind the DDRP to work closely with CVBs and DMOs, aptly capable of implementing the best plan to make use of the latest grants available for pre-qualified entities across all 50 States.
Joining in the efforts of this partnership are VisitorTix (www.visitortix.com), GoVisit Media (www.govisit.media), Galileo Tech Media (www.galileotechmedia.com), Treat' em Right (www.treatemright.com) and Destinations Online (www.destinations-online.com) each supporting a different aspect of this unique program.
“DDRP is first and foremost a “partnership program” and our team is ready and prepared to custom tailor your DDRP plan according to real needs. We will be guiding you to navigate the best way to wisely spend some of the funds while directly helping our most impacted peers” says Jonathan Elkoubi, Chief Commercial Officer at VisitorTix.
The program also provides an ability for destinations to add more content to their dedicated hub, which can also be replicated onto any of their existing media outlets, above and beyond the gain of Wheretraveler.com portal traffic.
