Where® Introduces Instant Booking of Tours and Attractions
NEW YORK, N.Y., Jan. 23, 2015—At the New York Times Travel Show, Where®, the global travel unit of Morris Media Network, today announced the launch of its new tool to allow travelers and visitors to instantly book tours, tickets and attractions online. Travelers can now visit wheretraveler.com/tours to read reviews, research options, compare prices and instantly book thousands of tours and attractions in Las Vegas, San Francisco and New York City.
Under the Where travel brand, Morris Media Network provides accurate and insightful travel information curated by local editors, and shares that information to the public through Where magazines, WhereTraveler.com, Where Maps, Where QuickGuides and Where GuestBooks.
To power the new booking tool, Where partnered with the Berlin-based, industry-leading tours-and-attractions booking platform GetYourGuide. The booking site is tied into and promoted on Where’s global travel information website WhereTraveler.com. Online booking can be located at the “Tours & Tickets” link in the top navigation.
“For almost 80 years, travelers have trusted Where to guide them to the best places to go and things to do in top destinations around the world,” said Donna Kessler, President of Morris Media Network. “Through this new partnership we are assisting the traveler by not only helping them discover unique experiences, but by helping them instantly reserve their seats for those experiences.”
As part of the introduction, Where is offering its readers and users the opportunity to enjoy a discount off the tours. Using the code “WHERE10” provides a 10 percent discount on bookings made at wheretraveler.com/tours.
