Peruvian restaurant Andina is located in one of the neighborhood’s renovated warehouses (Courtesy Andina)
This stylishly renovated warehouse in the Pearl District is a star in the Portland restaurant scene. Comprising a tapas bar, an aperitif bar, a wine shop and the capacious dining room, Andina showcases the cuisine of Peru to great effect. It is a beautiful restaurant, both in the space itself and in the presentation of the food. One staple is the cooking of fish in lime juice, or cebiche, which is regarded by some as the national dish of Peru. The wine list is well-edited; the service at Andina is professional and the servers’ knowledge is excellent, which is helpful if you are unfamiliar with Peruvian cuisine. L & D (daily).
