Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort

Frank Lloyd Wright was the consulting architect when this resort took shape in 1929. Mission-style furniture inside 738 guest rooms coordinates with Wrightean exteriors on 39 flowery acres. The signature restaurant, Wright’s, honors the famous architect in name, while its “American lodge” cuisine honors local farmers. Tennis courts, eight swimming pools, a spa, and golfing on an 18-hole putting course and the adjacent 36-hole Arizona Biltmore Country Club, plus gathering space for high-society events and weddings.
