46th Flagg Gem and Mineral Show: Jan. 5-7

Arizona Bach Festival: Jan. 12-27

AZ Vegetarian Food Festival: Jan. 20-21

DC Ranch Day: Jan. 27

At this event watch an Old West shootout, pan for gold, take vintage photos, explore a petting zoo and listen to live music on Market Street at DC Ranch. 20645 N. Pima Road, Scottsdale

Waste Management Phoenix Open: Jan. 29-Feb. 4

Known as “The Greatest Show on Grass,” the Waste Management Phoenix Open is a legendary PGA TOUR event that in 2017 drew 655,434 attendees. Held at TPC Scottsdale, players such as Hideki Matsuyama (defending champion), Phil Mickelson, Ricky Barnes, Rickie Fowler and Brooks Koepka compete for a share of the $6.9 million purse.
