Find attractions, museums, shopping destinations, eateries and so many more places to visit around the city on the City Guides by Where Traveler app. Search what’s nearby, or look up contact information and interactive maps for thousands of places around the Valley and worldwide. 

Eventbrite

This event-finder app is a treasure trove of local activities: festivals, concerts, races and more. See what’s popular, nearby or recommended based on your interests; register for an event and then save your QR Code tickets in your smartphone’s Passport app for easy access.

Feeling hungry? Search nearby restaurants, peruse the menus, view current wait times, and even make a reservation. Though this app doesn’t include every restaurant in the city, it is a handy helper during prime-dining times.

This mobile app may easily become a diary for the beer lover. Rate and photograph the craft beers you try, tag the bar or brewery you are at (brew masters often interact with customer posts), and see what your friends are drinking. Best of all, search the nearby bars and breweries to get a taste of the local flavor while in town.

The Macerich Company

Download the app for the shopping center of your choosing. Browse the store directory and current sales, receive personal offers, search movie times and reserve a table at an on-property restaurant. The apps include an interactive map and a parking-location finder. The Macerich Company’s Phoenix-area shopping centers include Scottsdale Fashion Square, Kierland Commons, Biltmore Fashion Park, Chandler Fashion Center, Arrowhead Towne Center, SanTan Village and Superstition Springs Center.

This concert-finder app scans your music downloads and prompts the creation of a favorite artist list in order to recommend shows you might like to attend. Search the listings by city and find and purchase tickets within seconds.  

Fandango Movies

Check out movie trailers and fan ratings, find show times, research theater amenities, purchase tickets and get directions right to the theater all through the Fandango Movies app. Can’t make the show after all? Exchange your tickets for another show time or return them for Fandango credit.

AllTrails

Explore a collection of more than 50,000 trails across the country. Plan your hiking or mountain biking adventure beforehand, or launch the app on your way to the trailhead for maps and information, photos and driving directions. Record your own hiking or mountain biking experiences, see what trails your friends are visiting and save trails you find on the AllTrails app to tackle on future trips. 

Social Bicycles

Find the nearest GRID Bike Share bike rack via the Social Bicycles app, reserve and pay ahead for your two-wheeled mode of transportation and use the code provided to unlock your bike upon arrival. Once you’re ready to return your ride, check the app once more to find the closest drop-off location.

zTrip

Select a VIP upscale black car or a taxi cab, choose when and where you would like to be picked up and enter a credit card number, which is saved on file for any future rides you book with zTrip. Once booked, you can track your driver’s ETA and receive updates via text message. (NOTE: Select the taxi cab if you prefer to pay cash.)

SuperShuttle

Travelers to and from the airport can use the mobile app to book a shared SuperShuttle van or an ExecuCar sedan or SUV. Wheelchair accessible vehicles are available and airline points or miles can be linked to your account.
