The Printemps department store went through a fabulous makeover in 2017 and it continues surprising us with more exclusive brands that it is bringing into its folds.
It is the department store that takes up three blocks in the heart of the city where Parisians have been shopping since its grand opening back in 1865. Listed as a historical monument, Printemps is a drawing card to all visitors to the French capital with one million visitors alone passing by the department store every year to see its extravagant Christmas window displays, but this summer visitors do not have to wait until the festive season to be blown away by its windows.
From the 19th of July, 2018, through to the 2nd of September the department store will be hosting Printemps Palace, which will see the store's windows dressed in opulence courtesy of the fashion capital's luxurious palace hotels and the talents of photographer Fabien Montique. Monique has captured the Hotel de Crillon, La Reserve Paris and the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome in a series of images that portray style, fashion and above all Paris luxury.
Meanwhile, inside the store shoppers will find the Valentino pop-up store that will be welcomed in the atrium from the 12th of July through to the 26th of August. The Italian palazzo atmosphere will showcase a limited edition capsule collection designed exclusively for Printemps by Valentino's Creative Director, Pierpaolo Piccioli. The capsule collection is made up of 6 pieces including sneakers, a clutch bag and a t-shirt, all bearing a Valentino Loves Printemps tag.
And on the 25th of June another Italian house is taking over a prime location at Printemps. Through the 3rd of September Bvlgari is exclusively popping up at the department store and will be showcasing the Serpenti Forever Wild Pop capsule collection. The limited edition collection is made up of three models and all feature the iconic, bejewelled snakehead.
