Movie Under the Stars

Under the Parisian skies, the Parc de la Villette will be hosting the largest outdoor cinema from the 18th of July through the 19th of August. The annual event sees new and old movies projected at sunset, and this year the al fresco theatre will be screening famous musicals including the award-winning La La Land. French Made: Shop along the Made in France street in Paris.

Through the 15th of July Rue du Vertbois in the 3rd arrondissement is welcoming not one but ten pop-up boutiques transforming the street into La Rue du Made in France. The ephemeral event will see over 80 brands being showcased and showing off the French savoir-faire in everything from fashion to beauty items as well as the country’s culinary flair. This is definitely one of the best spots for shoppers who are looking for only Made in France gems.

Yoga Nidra: Work out your anxieties with a yoga class before boarding your next flight out of Paris.

The next time you fly out of either the Orly airport or the Charles de Gaulle airport keep an eye out for the free Yoga Nidra classes being held courtesy of Tigre Yoga Club. The classes, being held every weekend from the 13th of July to the 18th of August, aim to relax you before you head off onto your next trip. The classes are held in the departure lounges and last between 10 and 20 minutes. Held in French and English, the classes help you enter a Zen state before your next trip. The weather is clearing and the hot air balloon season is open again, allowing visitors to discover different regions just outside of Paris in a fun and romantic way. Up until the 25th of October, you can discover the Château de Fontainebleau like never before from high above the ground aboard a France Montgolfières hot air balloon with the one-hour flight a wonderful way to take in the chateau from a bird’s eye view and to getter a better perspective of its perfectly manicured grounds.
