Le Bar à Ciel Ouvert by Krug at the Shangri-La Hotel
After a successful run last year the ephemeral Le Bar à Ciel Ouvert by Krug at the Shangri-La Hotel is back and is it is where you can take in a beautiful Parisian sunset with a flute of Krug champagne with the Eiffel Tower as the backdrop. The best seat in the city to offer a breath-taking view of Paris’s most famous monument is right here on the terrace of one of the hotel’s luxurious suites where the pop-up bar is calling home through to the 7th of October.
Open from 6 to 11 pm every evening, the bar, which accommodates 16 on the terrace and 14 in the suite, makes every evening feel like quite the exclusive soirée in Paris. Le Perchoir de l’Est
Le Perchoir de l’Est is back for another season and in turn has made many Parisians happy. The Le Perchoir bars are famous for offering guests magnificent views of the City of Light with the BHV Marais rooftop bar serving up a front row seat to the Hôtel de Ville, the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame, and here at the Gare de l’Est locale the backdrop is a confidential perspective of one of the oldest train stations in the city.
Perched above the station, the bar is romantically located under the Eiffel rose window and looks onto one of the entrances to the busy station, creating quite the people-watching spot with travellers spotted coming in and out of the station, setting an energetic atmosphere while cocktails are served. The bar, which is open only during the warmer season, is a wonderful spot for al fresco cocktails while surrounded by gorgeous bouquets of flowers, delicately breaking up an otherwise very bustling location. Le Papa Cabane
If you’re looking to watch the sunset in the French capital with a cooling drink in hand make sure you reserve yourself a table at Le Papa Cabane. Back for its second year running, the pop-up bar is open until the end of the month and is serving up music, street food and the South of France-popular sport, Pétanque. Open every Thursday, Le Papa Cabane has set up quite the inviting atmosphere with a boho chic décor complete with plants and environmentally friendly furniture, making you and the environment feel good. Mona Bismarck American Center
All summer the Mona Bismarck American Center will be hosting Mona Darlin’, a programme bursting with jazz, hip-hop and funk. Celebrating American pop culture, the cultural centre will be putting on live concerts in its spacious hidden garden where you can chill out with drinks, music and a sneak peak of the Eiffel Tower that sits just across the River Seine from the centre. With the warmer weather taking over the city the idea of partying indoors isn’t very appealing and that’s where La Boumette steps in. The al fresco club takes you outside, at the foot of the famous Opéra Garnier every weekend, where up until the end of September resident DJ Ludo Di Lucci will be spinning and Cointreau will be serving up refreshing cocktails. The pop-up club opens its doors at 10 pm where revellers can enjoy cocktails under the star-filled Parisian sky before the real party starts at midnight.
