Celebrating the Year of the Dog in Paris

The Chinese New Year is all about food, music and the lion dance.

Following the 2017 success, the Belleville neighbourhood of the French capital will be celebrating the 2018 Chinese New Year with a culinary feast. On the 22nd of February, along the Boulevard de Belleville between the Ménilmontant and Couronnes metro stations, from 6 pm to 10.30 pm, Chinese eateries from all around the city will be getting together to offer up their specialties for 2018's Food Market to celebrate the Year of the Dog. You can dine on dim sum, pork buns and grilled lamb as you watch the annual lion dance, the traditional dance that marks the New Year. Entry is free and all dishes are 10 euros or less.
