That’s not to mention the hugely anticipated opening of Star Wars Land, a massive, 14-acre expansion coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios that will transport guests to a never-before-seen planet that’s one of the last stops before wild space.

The droids you’re looking for can be found at this immersive and interactive walk-through attraction. The First Order-controlled outpost tucked away in the Animation Courtyard of Hollywood Studios is guarded by Stormtroopers and is home to tons of authentic replica props, models, costumes, concept artwork and artifacts from the Star Wars films.

Get techie with a life-size replica of Rey’s Speeder. Step inside an intergalactic cantina modeled after the infamous Mos Eisley cantina where you can play holographic chess or mosey up to the bar and pose with a glass of blue “bantha” milk. Though not for purchase in the Cantina, Blue Milk Panna Cotta and other Star Wars themed menu items are served at Backlot Express restaurant, located next to Jedi Training. Then join the rebellion in the Star Wars Game Center and catch a screening of a 10-minute, behind-the-scenes film celebrating the extraordinary creation of the Star Wars saga in the Launch Bay Theater.

Rebels young and old love meeting the legendary Chewbacca in an ancient temple transformed into a hidden Rebel base. Here, you’ll have a chance to salute the fuzzy gentle giant—Han Solo’s loyal comrade and Millennium Falcon copilot—and discover that his wit and heart are the Wookiee warrior’s most memorable qualities.

The new villain Kylo Ren is also lurking within Launch Bay. Prepare to confront this imposing First Order warrior on the bridge of his starship where he displays his malicious skills in combat and his strength with the Force. Don’t let your guard down; Kylo, with his fiery temper and crackling lightsaber, will try to persuade you to join him on his quest to rid the galaxy of the Resistance and the Jedi Order.

No trip through hyperspace would be complete without taking home a special Star Wars souvenir from Launch Bay Cargo. Here you’ll find everything from life-size sculptures, autographed memorabilia and high-end movie prop replicas to print-on-demand phone cases featuring your choice of extraordinary Star Wars art. Here kids can also play an informal trading game with the shifty and scavenging Jawas, exchanging collectables and pins they hoard.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away Show

Experience the power of the force in this all-new, live show that brings some of the most iconic scenes from Star Wars to life. Cheer on your favorite characters like Chewbacca, BB-8, Obi-Wan and Rey as they face off against Kylo Ren, Darth Vader and Darth Maul, reenacting memorable movie moments right before your eyes. Performances run every hour from 12:30-6:30 pm on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood Studios.

Star Wars: Path of the Jedi Movie

Relive the epic tale of the Star Wars saga and get a sneak peek at the future of the galaxy during a 10-minute, dramatic film. Highlighting all the exhilarating movie moments, the short retells an abridged version of the Jedi Order’s history, from rise to fall and return.

Tatooine Traders

Pod-race into this desert dome and childhood home of both Anakin and Luke Skywalker in Hollywood Studios’ Echo Lake area where you can scavenge for parts for your starship and purchase Star Wars memorabilia. Those who are in-touch with the force can even build their very own lightsaber or droid in addition to uncovering a galaxy of action figures, apparel, gadgets, LEGO kits, books and gifts galore.

Trials of the Temple Jedi Training

Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple

Train in the ways of the Force and put your skills to the test against the Dark Side. Beginning at daily at 10:30 am with new trials every half-hour, the Jedi Training Trials introduce “Force-sensitive” younglings from throughout the galaxy to tests and training on their abilities. Under the watchful eye of Jedi Knights, recruits learn how to use the Force, their wit and lightsabers to face some of the most notorious Star Wars villains. Duel the Seventh Sister Inquisitor, a deadly Jedi hunter from the popular Disney XD series Star Wars Rebels, confront Darth Vader and challenge the menacing Dark Lord of the Sith to an epic lightsaber battle.

Younglings who wish to participate must register before the show and be between 4 and 12 years of age. Registration is located at the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost and begins when Disney's Hollywood Studios opens for the day. All participants must be present to register. Availability is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Star Tours—The Adventures Continue

Make the jump to hyperspace to a new destination from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” during this celebrated 3D motion-simulator Star Tours. Featuring state-of-the-art flight simulation technology, digital 3D video, Audio-Animatronics characters and “in cockpit” special effects and music, Star Tours immerses you in the Star Wars mythology for an unforgettable intergalactic adventure.

Before your flight, hurry along the forest moon of Endor, home to rustic Ewok cottages and a towering AT-AT. Then make your way through a sleek Rebel bunker to the bustling Star Tours spaceport. Inside, watch R2-D2 and C-3PO tinker away on a Starspeeder while you weave your way past customs and baggage screening before picking up a pair of 3D flight glasses and continuing to your departure gate.

Following instructions from an overhead monitor, guests then board an interstellar vehicle and begin their journey through outer space. A constellation of storylines and interplanetary destinations unfolds as you exit hyperspace to find yourself in the middle of a furious starship battle above Coruscant before plunging into the oceans of Naboo and retreating inside the dreaded Death Star to escape Darth Vader before doing battle with Boba Fett. You never know where in the galaxy you’ll go or whom you may encounter along the way. Plus, an all-new location from Star Wars: The Force Awakens may be in store. But if you encounter Admiral Ackbar, you’ll know it’s a trap!

Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular

The all-new fireworks show rivals the explosion of Death Stars I, II and even Starkiller Base. State-of-the-art projection effects, dynamic lighting, lasers and pyrotechnics light up the night following a processional march of First Order Stormtroopers led by Captain Phasma, who makes her Walt Disney World debut.

The sounds of John Williams’ majestic Star Wars score fill the air as appearances by Star Wars characters, special effects and dazzling fireworks put viewers inside some of the most iconic scenes from the saga. Gaze upon Tatooine’s famous twin suns; fight through an army of Trade Federation battle droids; navigate a swirling asteroid field; and rocket down the Death Star’s narrow trench before delivering the heroic final blow to Starkiller Base.

Debuting in June, the next generation of the Star Wars-themed fireworks show will be called “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular,” complete with new themed fireworks, lasers, special effects and video projections of iconic characters and scenes from the complete saga, all set to the score from the films.

Guests can watch the fireworks from a reserved viewing area while enjoying Star Wars-themed desserts and drinks served in a souvenir stein. Nibble on Darth Vader cupcakes as you take in an exclusive, up-close view of the enthralling fireworks show. Special seating is $69 per adult and $39 for children ages 3-9.
