Disney On Ice presents Road Trip Adventures

The new show takes fans on a family vacation at the Thomas & Mach Center in January 2023.

Disney On Ice has been a classic favorite among families for generations. This summer, the brand new "Disney On Ice presents Road Trip Adventures" comes to Las Vegas at the Thomas & Mack Center from January 5-8, 2023. Fans can enjoy a journey through some of the most prominent destinations featured in Disney films.

A New Disney On Ice Production Comes to Las Vegas

"A road trip can be a great adventure that the entire family shares & experiences together, and so can a day at Disney On Ice," Jonathan Vaught, Disney on Ice SVP of Production & Operations, told us. "With this production, we wanted to create an event where families come together and interact with the performance to create something truly special. So whether you're two, you're twelve, a boy, a girl, a mom, dad or grandparent, "Disney On Ice presents Road Trip Adventures" is a multi-generational experience that everyone can enjoy together."

Viewers can expect fun new performances and some fan-favorite classics at the show. "At "Disney On Ice presents Road Trip Adventures," families and friends take a journey together alongside our tour guides, and their adventures and memorable moments become part of a larger-than-life scrapbook displayed on video screens integrated into the set" Vaught explained. "From the foggy city of London with "Mary Poppins Returns" to the mystical city of Agrabah in "Aladdin," family favorites come to life in a multi-generational celebration. The Prince Ali parade from "Aladdin" will feature opulent costumes and athletic choreography inspired by the live-action movie. We'll also have BMX bikes and riders and a new style of aerial performance that's brand new to Disney On Ice." The production also transports viewers to locations like the Pride Lands from "The Lion King" and Motunui from "Moana."

Character interactions are always an essential part of any Disney vacation, and "Disney On Ice presents Road Trip Adventures" is no different. "Families are an integral part of this year's show, no matter where they are sitting. And they get involved in the action through a variety of participatory elements built into the production, such as dance moments, karaoke sing-alongs to their favorite Disney tunes, and carnival games with our friends from Toy Story 4 that everyone gets to play. And when Mickey Mouse and his pals run into car trouble, the entire audience gets involved to help jump-start the Magic Mobile," Vaught told us. Who wouldn't help Mickey Mouse in a jam?

And, of course, viewers can always count on seeing their favorite mouse. "Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy—"The Fabs" as we call them—are in every Disney On Ice show and always get a huge reaction from our audience when Mickey & his friends first take to the ice during the opening number," Vaught assured us.
