Disney Golf

Walt Disney World invites all visitors to play its four golf courses. Especially designed for families, the Oak Trail golf course is an all-walking, Par 36, 9-hole course with junior tees. The course is operated by Arnold Palmer Golf Management. From $39.90

Disc Golf

Just four miles from the Mall at Millenia and Universal Orlando Resort, you can enjoy three 18-hole courses at Bill Frederick Park for disc golf, a golf alternative in which a Frisbee is thrown toward metal basket targets. With Turkey Lake as a backdrop amidst 170 lush acres, the park is full of natural elements including a challenging "over the water" shot. $2/person or $4/car entry and $4 disc rental

Head to downtown Orlando for the city's favorite public golf facility, Dubsdread Golf Course. A hybrid of golf and lacrosse, FlingGolf is played with a FlingStick, a lightweight shaft with a small basket rather than a traditional club head. Players cradle and launch the ball similarly to the technique used in lacrosse. (Be sure to stay for a burger at the Taproom. You can thank us later.) $25 and up


Kick up your game with FootGolf, also known as soccer golf. The game follows the rules of golf with soccer ball shots at oversized—21-inch diameter—holes. Score a round at Reunion Resort in Kissimmee—a private course—Hawk's Landing at the World Center Marriott, Sanctuary Ridge Golf Course in Clermont or Twin Rivers Golf Club in Oviedo. $10-30

Steer play time between holes using a GolfBoard at Dubsdread Golf Course. This historic course offers modern skateboard-inspired motorized carts as a substitute to standard golf carts. Strap your bag to the front, put your drink in the cup holder, thumb the throttle and shift your weight from side to side for a fast, game-changing round. $17 ($6 more than standard rental) 

Putt Putt

Mini golf is fun for all ages and skill levels, and Orlando has no shortage of options. Discover the magic of putt-putt near Epcot at Fantasia Gardens ($12-14), a Disney course parlaying the iconic Fantasia film to the fairway. Arrreee you ready for swashbuckling strokes? Pirates Cove Adventure Golf ($11.95-13.50) has two locations on International Drive and Lake Buena Vista, where you can walk the plank (well, miniature greens) to score a hole-in-one. At Hollywood Drive-In Golf at Universal CityWalk, sink every putt surrounded by silly, drive-in era horror and sci-fi films ($23.95).

Dewey's Indoor Golf

This Vegas-style bar and lounge near Universal Orlando Resort is outfitted with state-of-the-art picture-real sports simulators featuring the world’s best courses. Compete on 18 holes, miniature golf or the driving range, and practice skills with interactive training games. Plus, with more than 70 TVs—including a 25-foot big screen—watch golf tournaments, savor American cuisine and hydrate before tee-off with daily drink specials. $29-49/per hour

Yoga Flow for Golf Swing

Golfers can use yoga to improve range of motion, flexibility, strength, body awareness and mental focus. Featured on the Today show, Liang, a renowned acrobat and certified yoga teacher, offers private sessions on location geared toward golf injury prevention/recovery, body alignment correction and overall support of game performance. At this three-level entertainment center, opening fall of 2017 across from the Orange County Convention Center on International Drive, tee off from climate-controlled hitting bays overlooking a 240-yard outfield with dartboard-like targets.
