Thinking Outside the (Dinner) Box in NYC and Las Vegas

Sugar Factory isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience and the perfect spot for memorable events and parties.

New York City and Las Vegas are already among the most frequented places in the U.S., with more than 100 million tourists traveling to these cities in 2016. When considering these popular destinations for an upcoming special occasion, why not gather with your loved ones at a restaurant that is a lot more than just about food—it’s an experience, and a terrifically sweet one at that.

With worldwide locations, including NYC and Vegas, Sugar Factory is a sweets-centric spot that combines colorful confections with pop culture, turning candy into a must-have fashion accessory and cocktails into drinkable art. Sugar Factory’s signature Couture Pops—luscious lollipops with bejeweled sticks—are all the rage with celebrities. Famous folks snapped with Couture Pops include Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Pharrell, Kim Kardashian, Joe Manganiello and many, many more! This most Instagrammed restaurant in the U.S. is the perfect spot to make indelible memories for your next group event.

Birthday celebrations are extra special when you can focus on the girl or guy you’re feting and leave menus and party packages to the experts at Sugar Factory. Prix fixe party menus are served family style, with generous lists of appetizers, salads, entrées, sides and decadent desserts to choose from when you make your reservation—so everything is completely ready on the day! Add-ons like Goblet packages (giant 60 ounce drinks made with premium liqueurs, fruits and/or candy, all topped with a splash of liquid nitrogen for a flowing fog effect), goody bags of prefilled candy or Sugar Factory to-go boxes to fill up after the party, Couture Pops, VIP baskets full of sweet treats, birthday treasures and more are available to personalize the party experience.

Cakes here take your notions of whimsy and crank them up a few notches. Celebration cakes—red velvet cream, vanilla cream or chocolate cream—are topped with up to 10 cream-filled home-made waffle cones, while the Princess Cake features layers of red velvet cake iced with pink vanilla bean butter cream and topped with clouds of multi-color cotton candy and two Couture Pops.

Sugar Factory is also a spectacular place to celebrate bachelorette parties because of all the fun VIP bride-to-be swag. With “Team Bride” glow necklaces to bachelorette sashes and wine glasses to tiaras, a future bride can enjoy a special day before her big day while her bridal party will have a blast with sweets-filled goblets and goody bags.

In addition to being a hot spot for parties, Sugar Factory is also great for group gatherings for brunch or dessert. A three-course family style brunch gives your group the chance to hang out and catch up without interrupting socializing time to place your orders. For those who prefer three courses of treats, the dessert menu features among other options, sweet crepes, Sugar Factory’s Rocky Road Fondue with signature treats for dipping, as well as the King Kong Sundae—24 scoops of ice cream topped with everything from hot fudge, sliced bananas, gummi bears, chocolate chip cookies, toasted walnuts, whipped cream, giant lollipops and more, along with sparkers for some extra flair!

While the Sugar Factory locations around the world all feature premium sweets and eats, the NYC and Vegas shops offer particularly exciting amenities.

NYC has not one, but three Sugar Factory spots in Manhattan. The Meatpacking District location covers three floors and has three bars where the colorful candy-themed cocktails are crafted. The top level of the restaurant features a private VIP room that includes a customizable candy store for guests to rent out for their event. The main floor also has a candy shop, where you can select from hundreds of candies—including Couture Pops. The Row’s Sugar Factory in the Theater District offers sweet and savory dishes, as well as signature beverages and a retail shop of over 300 candy items. Groups of 25 of more can take over the whole place, which is great for those looking to throw a custom goblet and dessert party.

And…there’s a brand new Sugar Factory at 1991 Broadway! This two-floor Upper West Side stop has all your favorite Sugar Factory goodies, in addition to a unique café-style counter at the entrance of the restaurant. There, guests can enjoy to-go style treats like artisanal macaroons, decadent milkshakes, year-round gelato and ice cream, sweet or savory pizzas, scrumptious soups and sandwiches.

In Vegas, Sugar Factory just opened its flagship restaurant and retail destination—Sugar Factory Fashion Show. The spacious lower level offers a lavish dining experience, with plush seating and a large bar area to enjoy Sugar Factory’s signature cocktails and menu. The upper level has stunning wraparound views of the Vegas strip and a whimsical sculpture garden with LED displays and decorative mazes. This floor also features an opulent Chocolate Lounge. Dozens of chocolate martinis and cocktails are available, as well as a generous selection of truffles and pralines that pair nicely with the wine, champagne and beer offerings that are poured into Warm Chocolate-dipped glasses. Sweet crepes and chocolate-dipped fruits are prepared tableside, where you can also make your own chocolate taste sensations with the premium chocolate fondues. To have a spectacularly decadent Chocolate Lounge experience, order the Super Fun Premium Fondues with silver- or gold-coated truffles melted tableside with silver- or gold-dusted dipping bites (24 hour advance notice is required).

Whether in NYC, Las Vegas, or one of its other cities, Sugar Factory is the perfect place for kids and grownups alike to bond over the sweeter things in life. This fantastical candy land of indulgent drinks and chocolate treats—where the offerings are as Instagram-worthy as they are delicious—should be at the top of your list when planning your next big bash.
