With warm weather around the corner, it's time for fun in Central Park

Now that the days are getting seriously sunny, we all start thinking about our awesome NYC parks to play in. Central Park is lining up some terrific events over the next couple of weeks worth checking out, both indoors and outdoors in the Park.

 

"Zoo Go Blue" For Autism Awareness Day: An annual event that welcomes families affected by autism to come enjoy an early opening of the Central Park Zoo, meet some animal guests, be entertained by wildlife theater and more. Sat., April 19, 9 a.m.-noon.

 

Swedish Cottage Marionette TheaterBessie's Big Shot is now playing at this charming theater inside the zoo. The, show follows Bessie the cow's dream of joining the circus. Does her dream come true? Daily between April 15 and April 18, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Live DJ Music and Roller Skating: Listen to DJs spin classic rock as you groove to the music on your roller skates! Every Sat. and Sun between April 19 and October 26, 2:45 p.m.-6:45 p.m. (Free event, but bring your own skates).

Movie and TV Sites Biking Tours: Let an expert cycle with you around the park to areas of the park where famous film and television scenes were fimed. Choose between 1 and 2 hour tours. Now through December 31, 2015, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. (BYOB: Bring Your Own Bike).
