This free museum offers a fascinating look at the history of Tennessee, from prehistoric times through the 20th century. Visit permanent exhibits on topics ranging from the first peoples' arrival in Tennessee at the end of the Ice Age to a 360 Interactive Theater exploring the state from World War II to today. Revolutionary and Civil War artifacts and a natural history program are featured as well. Visitors will also have access to temporary exhibits and a Children's Gallery. Don’t miss its events and educational programs. Open Tu-Su.
