Located in what was once Nashville’s landmark downtown post office, the Frist is probably the only art museum in the country that houses a working post office. This stunning art museum exclusively features rotating exhibits of contemporary art. Past exhibits have included everything from "European Masterworks from the Phillips Collection" to "Masters of American Watercolor from the Brooklyn Museum" to artwork created by students from Nashville’s public schools. The interactive ArtQuest Gallery teaches burgeoning artists the basic principles of art. Open daily. Tickets: $7-$12; ages 18 and younger free.
