Prada Expands its Milanese Presence

The couture house's new home will feature its signature elegance and sophistication, with the added touch of technology developed by the brand

The historic couture house recently inaugurated its new space in the heart of Milan, in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The new “Prada Galleria” will have a flexible layout and a new sales space, the Fondazione Prada, areas for events and the headquarters of the Prada Group. In July, Prada launched the first phase of the project which included the renovation of an entire quadrant of the Galleria facing the historic central intersection diagonally adjacent to the existing Prada store. The new, recently inaugurated shop on the ground floor is dedicated to its men’s collections. While the space is designed to reflect the elegance and sophistication of the original Galleria shops, it also benefits from the advanced retail technology systems that Prada has developed throughout its global retail network.
