The Deering Estate preserves the 1920's-era Miami estate of Charles Deering, Chicago industrialist, early preservationist, environmentalist, art collector and philanthropist. The site, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, acts as a museum, environmental preserve and historic site. From outdoor activities to tours, the Deering Estate is family friendly. Open daily 10 am-5 pm. Regular admission: Adults $15, children 4-14 $7.
