Downtown Miami

Each downtown district—Brickell, The Central Business District, Park West and The Media & Entertainment District—has its unique identity. Brickell is a residentially developed area with Brickell Village at its heart. This retail center adds vitality to all of downtown. Nestled in the heart of the Central Business District, Flagler Street is downtown’s historic retail area and home to the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts. Biscayne Boulevard, downtown Miami’s window to the world, has dramatically changed with residential projects that create a new walkable district with sidewalk cafés and retail stores. Home of the American Airlines Arena and 2006 NBA champs the Miami Heat, plus Bayside Marketplace and Bayfront Park, Biscayne Boulevard also has the Adrienne Arsht Performing Arts Center as one of its premier attractions. West of Brickell Avenue is Little Havana, an authentic slice of Cuba.
