Melbourne Museum

Located in the Carlton Gardens, Melbourne Museum is the largest museum complex in the southern hemisphere and draws on the latest technology and interpretation methods to give visitors a memorable insight into the nation's flora, fauna, culture and way of life. Incorporating the adjacent World Heritage-listed Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne Museum covers the natural and physical sciences as well as social history and cultures. Exhibitions cover six major themes: Melbourne history, Indigenous cultures, the human mind and body, science, technology and the environment.
