This 104-acre wildlife reserve has a Water’s Edge Café overlooking lakes, ponds and gardens that are home to over 100 species of rare and wild birds. Visitors can watch the otters and birds being fed every day, while there are also daily 'Spotlight' talks on various subjects. Daily 9.30am-5.30pm. Adult £13; child £7.90.
2 Feb: Winter Bird Watching Walk. Tour the wetlands with an experienced and knowledgeable guide. 9.30am-11am; £20.50 per person.
29 Mar: Wetlands Bird & Courtship Walk. Stroll through the reserve with a warden and learn about the fascinating world of bird courtship and breeding. 11am-12:30pm; £5.50 per person (plus admission).
