One of the world’s leading museums of contemporary design and architecture. Designer Maker User is a free, permanent display of the museum's contemporary collection. Daily 10am-6pm; first Fri every month 10am-8pm. Admission free; charges for special exhibitions. 

To 23 Feb: Moving to Mars. Exploring humanity's next frontier, with a to-scale Mars home, robotic builders, Mars spacesuits and artefacts from NASA, the European Space Agency and Elon Musk's SpaceX company.

To 31 Mar: Beazley Designs of the Year. Nominated by both experts and the general public, this is a showcase for the best of fashion, digital, transport, architectural and graphic design from the past year.

From 1 Apr: Electronic: From Kraftwerk to the Chemical Brothers. Exploring the world of electronic music and the people, art, design and technology that has shaped it.
