The Immersive Playground Area15 Opens The Beast, Emporium and Five Iron Golf

Come throw an axe, wander through a bamboo volcano, race on a zip line, play golf and more at one of Vegas‘s newest attractions.

Discover Socially Distanced Fun in Las Vegas

Already the perfect playground for socially distant fun at all ages, AREA15 is now bringing in a bevy of new experiences to Las Vegas with a food hall, indoor golf experience, and an art-driven arcade.

The Beast

A brand new food hall concept from James Beard Award-winning Todd English. While you’ll find a variety of eats here, the space lends ambiance closer to a fine dining establishment than a “food court” type of hall. This comes as no surprise to foodies since Chef Todd English has been bringing sophisticated restaurants and menus to Las Vegas and other cities for many years. Hungry visitors can opt to dine inside the food hall’s dining room or order food to be brought to their table at various AREA15 experiences.

Once inside, you’ll find an extensive, fun selection of menu items such as the Peanut Butter & Jelly Wings, Peking Duck Pizza, and the Key Lime Flying Saucer. When asked what inspired the food hall concept, his response was simple, “Stretching the imagination and having fun with these menus. Trying to take food and make it in a unique way.” He also elaborated on the decision to bring The Beast to AREA15, “I loved the whole project and the vibe and it’s very much me.”

Emporium Arcade Bar

With a full bar, pristine pool tables, and a selection of pinball and arcade machines from multiple decades, Emporium has something for everyone. Spanning two stories, the vibrant machines and low lighting lend a nostalgic vibe to the space taking you back to your childhood arcade days while blending seamlessly with the ambiance of AREA15. Co-Founder, Daniel Marks tells us “AREA15 reached out to us in late 2018 and pitched their concept... it was nothing like anything we’d heard of before and it seemed like they were trying to bring only the best experiences. They actually came and checked out our other locations in Chi and SF before they committed so I knew they were serious. All the artistic vision and creative vision behind it is super cool and aligned with what we do.”

With multiple locations outside of Las Vegas, one big thing truly sets the new location apart from its predecessors. “All our other locations are stand alone and we aren’t part of a complex or mall anywhere else. All our other locations are in old vintage buildings and this one is newer construction so we had a little more leeway to design it differently,” Daniel Marks explains. A quick look around Emporium immediately shows the design and creativity that went into creating the space.

Five Iron Golf

You may have tried a golf simulator in the past, but Five Iron Golf truly brings the full golf experience to you indoors. With the massive simulator screens, comfy couches, and full bar, you can enjoy a real golfing experience in a climate-controlled environment. “From the colorful murals on our walls to the events and experiences we host, every detail in every Five Iron location is purposefully tied back into our mission to make golf for everyone. We are thrilled to bring Five Iron Golf to AREA15 and be a part of reimagining Las Vegas’ culture through exciting, immersive experiences,” explains Nora Dunnan, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer. The meticulous detail that went into creating Five Iron Golf can be seen and felt as you walk in the door.

The simulators may look intimidating, but they’re actually designed for every skill level to enjoy. For those who have never tried golf before, it’s a perfect environment to try out the sport and learn the basics before hitting a real course. “Our vision behind Five Iron is to create a place for the local golf community to take lessons, practice, and play in our leagues, while also making the game entertaining for everyone. We look forward to becoming the place where the Las Vegas golf community connects and newcomers have fun giving golf a shot,” says Jared Solomon, Co-Founder, and Chief Executive Officer. AREA15, 3215 S.
