Six Unforgettable Las Vegas Experiences on Father’s Day

Local experiences every dad will love!

There is no better way to honor your dad or husband this Father’s Day than to celebrate him by creating some long-lasting memories. While most people think of Las Vegas as just a place to gamble, our fabulous city has an incredible range of options to suit your favorite guy’s personality.

Celebrate Dad Vegas Style

So whether he wants a relaxing celebration by the pool or craves an adrenaline rush, Las Vegas is never short of unique experiences.

Maverick Helicopters

Show dad some spectacular aerial views on a tour with Maverick Helicopters. He will enjoy a bird’s eye view of the Las Vegas Strip and its iconic landmarks such as the Fountains of Bellagio and the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas on the Vegas Nights Flight tour. If dad is looking for a bit of nature mixed in, the Neon & Nature tour is perfect. In addition to flying over the Strip, a flight over the Red Rock Canyon and its sandstone cliffs will surely take his breath away! Then, elevate the experience on the Wind Dancer Flight tour, which offers a VIP-level adventure with magnificent views of the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Temple Rock, and Fortification Hill, all seen on the way to the Grand Canyon. He will descend 3,500 feet into the Grand Canyon and land at a private site on Hualapai Indian Territory, where champagne, beverages, and a gourmet snack box are served on this tour.

SkyJump Las Vegas

If dad is feeling a little adventurous, take him to SkyJump Las Vegas at The Strat. He will have the opportunity to take an open-air, exhilarating leap from the top of The STRAT and plunge 829 feet down, at 40 miles per hour, towards the Las Vegas Strip. SkyJump Las Vegas is the only sky jump in North America and the highest in the world. They hold a Guinness World Record as the highest commercial decelerator descent facility!

Allegiant Stadium Tour

Is dad a football fan? Then, take him on a tour of the Allegiant Stadium, the 65,000-seat home of the Las Vegas Raiders. There are two tour options: a walk-through and the upgraded VIP option, which offers a drink and a stellar view of the Las Vegas Strip. Depending on the option chosen, dad will have the chance to tour the broadcast booth, the press conference room and have on-field access.

Stadium Swim

Take dad to a not-so-ordinary pool party. Stadium Swim at Circa Resort & Casino features three levels of pools and an impressive 40-foot TV designed to show multiple sports games at one time. There are chaise lounges, daybeds, and cabanas to help him relax, a live DJ playing music, and he can order food that will be delivered right to his lounge chair. Stadium Swim is open year-round. Pools will be temperature controlled so that swimmers will be comfortable even during the winter season.

Five Iron Golf

You will hit a hole in one taking dad to Five Iron Golf located at AREA 15, the immersive entertainment spot located off the Las Vegas Strip. Five Iron Golf is housed in a 6,300 square-foot complex with a full bar, TV wall, and 12 widescreen TVs. The cocktail menu includes beverages such as the Beer and Loathing in LV, Double Bogey Mule, and Talk Birdie to Me. Bites like sliders and wings can be delivered to you from The Beast by Todd English. In addition, dad will enjoy virtual rounds of golf that are played on close to 200 courses.

For the infinite thrill and to fulfill his need for speed, take dad to SPEEDVEGAS. Here, he can experience driving or riding in race trucks, rally cars, or supercars, including Lamborghinis, Ferraris, or Porsche options. The 1.5-mile track has 12 challenging turns, 60 feet of total elevation change, and no speed limit! In addition, SPEEDVEGAS, located on Las Vegas Boulevard, offers free shuttle service to and from any resort on the Strip.

Pinball Hall of Fame

Dad will flip when he sees the flippers, bumpers, and tiny steel balls inside all of the pinball machines at the Pinball Hall of Fame. The experience will most certainly take him down memory lane or be a grand introduction to hundreds of pinball machines dating back to the 1950s. Classic machines like the 1976 Elton John-themed Captain Fantastic or the Twilight Zone machine from the 1990s can be found here. The 27,000 square foot pinball space is located across from the Welcome to Las Vegas sign on the Strip.
