While there's already plenty of buzz surrounding the new holiday experience, Enchant Christmas, the new menu is definitely giving visitors something to look forward to (eating). The menu contains winter favorites, exotic flavors and so many sweet treats.
What to Eat at Enchant Christmas Las Vegas
We were invited to an exclusive hosted media tasting to see if the menu lives up to the hype (it does—it really does).
Holiday Cheer Cocktails
Arriving at the Las Vegas Ballpark, it was already beginning to feel like Christmas with the lights being strung around the building and the gigantic glittery icicles near the entry. We were instructed not to take any photos of the ballpark itself as the Christmas tree (taller than the one at Rockefeller Center) was going up right before our eyes. We were ushered into what will be the VIP area of Enchant Christmas and greeted with the cutest "Holiday Cheer" cocktails in glowing light bulb glasses (souvenirs that can be taken home).
Upon seeing the menu for all of the food and beverage offerings, we assumed we would be sampling a handful of the pieces. Oh, boy, were we wrong. Over the course of an hour and a half, we were treated to samples of virtually the entire menu (some items are still kept under wraps to surprise guests once Enchant Christmas opens), along with presentations from the vendors and Chef Garry Delucia, the event's Regional Executive Chef for Professional Sports Catering powered by Levy.
The first portion of the menu (presented by Levy) includes several winter favorites like the poutine fries (with deep-fried cheese curds) and German Schnitzel (the accompanying potato salad is even made in-house). The Levy line-up includes the charcuterie pretzel (with imported and domestic meats and cheese) and the portobello mushroom burger.
Chef Garry briefed us on each menu item, including one of the standouts—the chili in a bread bowl. "This is our house-made chili. We make it in-house; we make it in larger batches," Chef Garry told us. "We do have a local bakery making the sourdough bread bowls. We're going to toast them, so they hold the chili in. We're going to top them with shredded Wisconsin cheddar cheese, sour cream and green onion."
Pacha Mamas, an off-shoot of Border Grill, presented several exotic flavors in the form of bowls. "One of the things that we are very proud of is everything that we serve is antibiotic and hormone-free meats. We do not deviate from that, and that's just the style that we do," the Pacha Mama representative told us. The first was a BBQ-smoked tofu bowl with crispy quinoa, and the jerk chicken bowl and teriyaki steak bowl were next, both served with rice. The last was the flavorful paella bowl.
Saint Honoré Doughnuts & Beignets and Pizza Anonymous
Local favorites Saint Honoré Doughnuts & Beignets and Pizza Anonymous (a ghost kitchen located inside Saint Honoré Doughnuts & Beignets) bring their delicious doughnuts and pizzas to Enchant Christmas. Diners will have their choice between the Margherita pizza, pepperoni pizza and the garlic veggie pizza. Various assorted doughnuts from Saint Honoré will be available as well, with custom Enchant designs.
New to the dining scene, Summerlin's Benyeh brings assorted Benyehs (beignets) to Enchant Christmas, including the classic flavor and a praline version. "Our chef is classically trained in pastries and French desserts," the owners explained during their presentation. Make sure to check out the Enchant Cinnamon Roll—it's exclusively available at Enchant Christmas and features a tender, flaky French brioche roll covered in decadent cream cheese frosting. The Enchant cookies come in a s'more and peanut butter delight variety.
Secret Creamery & Penny Pop Popcorn
It's never too cold for ice cream (at least, that's our excuse), and Secret Creamery brings a special toasted marshmallow ice cream to Enchant Christmas. The unique flavor evokes all the sweetness of the holiday season. Last but definitely not least are the assorted flavors from Penny Pop Popcorn. Initially opened during the pandemic, the new local business brings three fun flavors of kettle corn to the event with a "Brown Sugar Butter Rum" flavor and a "Peppermint Candy Cane" flavor in addition to their Enchant kettle corn.
