Las Vegas for the Bachelorette

Bachelorette party in Las Vegas? Steal these 20-plus ideas to make your Las Vegas trip memorable—from spa treatments to late-night clubs.

Girls just want to have fun, and there’s no better place than Vegas for a bachelorette blowout. Below are just a few ideas for pampering and partying to make your weekend unforgettable.

For your extra-special weekend, why not go all out and book a suite? Hard Rock Hotel & Casino offers such luxe layouts as the Moroccan-inspired Nirvana Suite penthouse with an indoor terrace that leads to an outdoor area with a private plunge pool. Or really splurge and rent the Penthouse Real World Suite, 4,200 square feet of fun, including a six-person hot tub, pool table and bowling alley. At the Palms you can book a poolside bungalow, or select a Fantasy Penthouse with a Jacuzzi, fireplace and fully stocked bar.

Get your glow on before heading out for a night on the town with a visit to one of the many spas around. For a day of pampering off the Strip, benefit from the “ancient therapeutic wisdom” that informs the treatments at Spa Aquae at the Marriott. Settle in for a body wrap, facial and steam bath, just a few of the many amenities offered. Try the Paradise Glow Salt Scrub, a luxurious exfoliation treatment of sea salt, passion fruit seeds, avocado butter, cardamom and neroli, followed by a Murumuru butter body mousse. On the Strip is Spa Bellagio, where you can get mellow with their Signature Stone massage, a therapeutic hands-on massage combined with warm-stone application, and a cooling eye treatment. At the salon, nourish your hair with a rejuvenating hair mask, then have your hair and makeup done.

Now that you’re relaxed and gorgeous, it’s time to hit the town. Head up—way up—to the Level 107 Lounge at the top of the Stratosphere. Along with the spectacular 360-degree view, this upscale lounge offers delectable signature drinks and two happy hours: From 4 to 7 pm and from 10:30 pm to 1 am, enjoy half-price appetizers and two-for-one cocktails. You’ll also find breathtaking views and fabulous dining and cocktails atop Mandalay Bay at the House of Blues Foundation Room, where chef de cuisine Jonathan Snyder serves up everything from long bone short ribs and fresh market fish specialties to truffle macaroni and cheese and duck confit. Seasonally inspired Italian fare stars at Scarpetta at The Cosmopolitan, a restaurant with a sexy vibe. Chef Scott Conant’s menu includes such signature entrees as Sicilian-spiced duck breast with preserved orange, root vegetables and caramelized endive; and seared sea scallops with sunchokes and roasted porcini mushrooms.

Now heat up the night with some entertainment from the men. Start with a cocktail in the Flirt Lounge at Chippendales at Rio, then enjoy the show as a well-toned, body-fat-free legion of half-dressed men perform in various guises, from the fireman to the cowboy, and in different scenes of seduction; meet the cast after the show. The great-looking guys who call themselves The Men of Sapphire give a new meaning to the term “interactive” as they perform on stage and throughout the room, including personal lap dances for certain lucky ladies. The beautiful boys from Oz are featured in two shows. The Thunder From Down Under review at the Excalibur features sexy Aussie hunks representing your favorite fantasy. These guys dance not only on stage but right on your tabletop; you might even be invited to join them on stage. Human Nature is the talented quartet that performs at The Venetian. While these Aussies don’t strip, their wonderfully sexy performance of Motown hits will leave you begging for more.

If watching the guys perform gives you stage envy, enroll at X Burlesque University for a crash course (75-minutes) in how to look and dance like a showgirl. The X girls themselves will show you the moves on stage at Bugsy’s Cabaret at The Flamingo and send you off with a makeup kit and a souvenir photo (Saturdays at 3 pm).

You can show off some of your new-found skills on the dance floors of some of the hottest nightspots in town. XS Nightclub at Wynn lives up to its name. The opulent, over-the-top interior sets the scene for nonstop action with some of the best DJs around. Posh is the word at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Vanity, where you’re surrounded by bronze walls with metallic gold, hand-cut crystal and a dramatic cyclone chandelier with 20,000 shimmering lights. You'll love the powder room, where you can indulge in touch-ups by nail and makeup technicians.

Cap off your evening with something every girl dreams of: chocolate! No need to feel guilty; you’ve just worked off a million calories. Head over to the chocolate lounge at the Sugar Factory Bar & Grill at Paris, where luscious sweets are served 24 hours a day.

To make your weekend everything you want it to be, be sure to reserve ahead. Cheers!
