My Cherie Amour

Stevie Wonder heads to a “Higher Ground” when he embarks on a summer tour with his “The Stevie Wonder Song Party: A Celebration of Life, Love & Music.” The concert series brings some of his favorite hits, including his funk anthems “Superstition” and “Sir Duke,” “I Just Called To Say I Love You” and “Isn’t She Lovely,” written for the birth of his daughter Aisha. His 1969 ballad “My Cherie Amour” was originally called “Oh, My Marsha’” after a girlfriend he dated at the Michigan School for the Blind. Wonder altered the name after they broke up.
