Hoopulapula Haraguchi Rice Mill

Built by the Chinese and purchased by the Haraguchi family in 1924, the rice mill has been restored three times: after a fire in 1930, then again after Hurricane Iwa in 1982 and Hurricane Iniki in 1992. This is the only remaining rice mill in all of Hawaii. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and dates back to the late 1880s.
