This small museum offers a taste of life when Mandarin was on its own in the early 1900s. The attached Walter Jones Historical Park is on the water and includes a farmhouse from 1875 and a barn and sawmill from 1876. Harriet Beecher Stowe of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" lived in Mandarin during the winter. Open Sa 9 am-4 pm.
